THANK YOU FOR READING THROUGH TODAY'S REVISION OF THIS PAGE HEREWITH OUR CLICKS & MORTAR JOTTINGS FOR THE DAY This page was freshly revised & updated on Wednesday 1st. Sept. 2010. Sunday evening was spent very pleasantly with our charming Australian cousins, Jon & Jane, at a family gathering. (Southport, the holiday town we trade from was crowded with holidaymakers over the weekend and we should have been busy, but the sunny weather decided otherwise; the crowds stayed outside. Surprisingly however books are selling well against natural history specimens, but that may be due to recent spending on choice scholarly items.) Yesterday, Monday, Andrew took over the counter mid-afternoon so that Joan and I could leave early for the food/beverage/music excesses at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party fabulously hosted by the inimitable Martin & Helen. They are a hard act to follow. British clients should note just how beautiful Southport is right now, and no less wonderful when soon the leaves fall and the Aircraft Show begins. ... Taken From Today's Home Page Jottings. |
